Dance It Off!

Regain Tone and Shape with Musical Movements

By C.J. Johnson

Pages:  1  2  3  4

This one-hour class teaches students to explore their sexual energy through movement. Each class is empowering and includes confidence-building through sexuality and athletic and erotic exercises. Fine details like lap dancing, making a sexy entrance, turning, gyrating, body language, throwing attitude, flirting, posing, the use of props and, of course, removing articles of clothing are only a few of the skills participants will learn.

Within the class there is a 10-minute warm up that introduces basic movements, isolations and techniques. Class members then stretch out their muscles before they start gyrating. After stretching, participants jump right into learning the basic skills of strip dancing. During the last 25 minutes of class, participants remove their clothing as they perform a choreographed striptease.

Get Funky!
Body Tech Fitness Centers have just launched their newest dance class, "The Funk." This class is playful and hard driving. Within an hour's time participants will do the hustle, Macarena, tootsie roll, electric slide and the choo choo. They also re-enact some of MC Hammer's best moves.

It is a brutal workout that flies by while hundreds of calories are being burned. The abdominal muscles are put to the test, and the hips rarely stop swaying. It is a great way to tone those seldom-used muscles in the body. After a few sessions, exercise enthusiasts will feel more comfortable on the dance floor.
