Two Cute!
Adorable Costumes to Make for Your Twins By Kymberly Pratt
They say twins are like two peas in a pod with carrots!
You'll need:
Green jogging suit
Green pompoms
Orange jogging suit
Green felt
Hot glue
Here's what you do:
1. Attach the green pompoms to the green jogging suit with the hot glue to represent the peas.
2. For the carrot, have your child wear the orange jogging suit. Roll a piece of green felt into a triangle, hot glue it together and wear as a hat to represent the top of the carrot.
Duck, Duck Goose
Families that flock together, stay together.
You'll need:
Yellow jogging suit
White jogging suit
Yellow and white feathers
Orange felt
Poster board
String
Scissors
Here's what you do:
1. For the duck, your child will wear the yellow jogging suit that has been jazzed up with some feathers, or wings cut out of the felt that have been hot glued on. For the goose, do the same with the white jogging suit.
2. Both need a beak. Cut two beaks out of the poster board, then cover with orange felt. If you do a top and bottom of the beak, simply staple them together. To attach the beak, poke a hole on either side and tie a piece of string through it long enough to go around your child's head. Tuck it behind your child's ears.
Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy
Make these cute outfits with clothes lying around your house!
You'll need:
Old clothes
Red yarn
Raggedy Ann
1. You will need a white hat. If you can't find one, it can be made out of white material and a piece of elastic, or simply tie a handkerchief around your child's head.
2. Use the red yarn to make the hair. You can either attach it to the inside of the hat, or cut several pieces and tie them together and wear underneath the hat.
3. Now the dress. Have your child wear a blue dress, or a blue shirt and skirt will do. Find an apron for your child to wear, or make one out of any scrap material or even an old kitchen towel.
4. The final touch is red stockings (optional) and black shoes.
5. Use blush and black eyeliner to decorate your child's face with rosy cheeks and freckles!
