While some toddlers are a little apprehensive about Halloween thanks to the costumes and creepy decorations, don't leave your little one out. Have a howling good time with these fun, toddler-friendly crafts!

You'll need:

Paper egg carton
Markers
Paint
Paintbrushes
Scissors
Hole punch
String or pipe cleaners

Cut the egg carton into sets of "eyes." Your alien can have two eyes or four eyes! Cut out a small hole through the center of each to allow your child to see through when he wears them. Then, let your child color the eyes with markers or paint them with tempura paints. Allow the eyes to dry.

Punch a small hole on both sides and tie a piece of string to secure the eyes around your child's head like a mask. Or, pipe cleaners can be used to wear the eyes like a pair of glasses.

You'll need:

Black paint
White craft foam
String
Scissors
Wiggle eyes
Glue
Hole punch
Black pipe cleaner

Dip your child's hand in black paint and help her stamp her handprints onto the white foam. After the paint dries, help your child cut out the handprints, going around each finger to make the "legs." Attach one wiggle eye to the palm section of the handprint with glue.

Poke one hole in each palm, and attach the two handprints together with the black pipe cleaner. Tie a piece of string onto the spider to hang.
