It's our first grandbaby, and our grandbaby's mommy has dilated to 1 and lost her mucous plug. How much longer?
There is absolutely no way to know for sure. Believe me, if we obstetricians had a means of making reliable predictions as to when a baby is going to come, our lives would be so much nicer. If it's possible, we would have figured it out already, so we wouldn't miss anymore of our kid's games or be able to actually plan for and accomplish something over the weekend!"
