Can I get pregnant during menopause, 18 months after my last period?
Highly unlikely. But things other than menopause can cause you to stop menstruating. If you are around the appropriate age for menopause and you have had other symptoms, like hot flashes or vaginal dryness, that suggest menopause, it is even more unlikely you are pregnant. To be 100-percent sure, you can ask your physician to check your FSH and estradiol levels to confirm menopause before you have unprotected intercourse."
