My 9-year-old granddaughter takes her lunch to school each day and is tired of ham sandwiches. What are some fun (and nutritious) sandwich ideas?
Try rolling up fun ingredients in flour tortillas, like turkey, cheese, sprouts or refined beans and salsa. Or how about stuffing pita pockets with hummus, veggies, chicken strips, and avocado? Lunch doesn't need to be a sandwich: Nori rolls, beans and chips, bagels with spreads and pasta all make good lunchbox fare.
